Whopping The Product Properly

My former laptop gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago, so I bought an external hard drive enclosure from a company called Shop4Tech.com. I figured once I transferred my old files to my new Toshiba, I could put this enclosure to good use as a tool for backing up files.

The enclosure I ordered was made in China, naturally. The website indicates it's made by a company called Sabrent, but there's no name on the enclosure or the box it came in. I ordered this particular unit, because it offers both IDE and SATA connections inside and USB 2.0 outside. You can see it HERE.

It came with a fantastic "Chinglish" manual. Here's a couple of excerpts that are fairly typical of Computer Device Manual La La Land:
"connect your enclsoure with the IDE hare disk or SATA hare disk"
"connect the enclsoure thru the USB port in your computer with USB cable"

On rare occasions, my disk does behave like a hare, but usually it's more like a tortoise. At least their incorrect spellings are consistent.

I have to admit, I was totally caught off guard by this section:
Whopping the product properly
You must click the "safly remove hardware" icon on the right of the taskbar,if u want to stop the product and then there a direction telling that the USB Mass storage device can now be safely remved .then u can whop the USBcable from the USB port and then there appeared a direction telling that the USB Mass storage device can now be safely remved .then u can whop the USBcable from the USB port
In Windows2000 or Windows ME ,when you whop the device without according the practices aboved .there a warning message showed that if u whop it without stopping it this may cause your computer to crash or lose some value data.also do not whop the enclosure when the read/write LED of is still on

I've often wanted to whop my computer, but I never dreamed there were actual instructions on how to do it properly!
