NQC 2008: Monday Via Solid Gospel, Part 5
Reactions to Monday evening’s NQC performances continue…to listen for yourself, click HERE.
10:05 PM – The Perrys begin their set with “It Was The Blood.” This lyric quotes part of “Victory In Jesus.”
10:08 PM – Libbi is featured next on “The Potter Knows The Clay.” The Perrys are dialed in on their harmonies tonight. An internet stream isn’t an accurate reflection of what the people in Freedom Hall are hearing, but you can tell when they’re on…and the Perrys sound ON tonight.
10:12 PM – “I Wish I Coulda Been There” is next. This is my all-time favorite Perrys song. I must not be the only one who likes it. It’s a great concert number.
10:16 PM – The Perrys conclude their set with “Holy Shore.”
I’d love to stay up for another hour or so and hear the conclusion of Monday’s concert. Instead, I’m going to sign off early tonight so I can get up early tomorrow, drive 6-7 hours, and experience Tuesday evening’s concert in person.
I’m sure I’ll see some of you there. Thanks for reading!
