A Thanksgiving CD

If your favorite artist recorded a Thanksgiving CD, what ten songs would you want to see included? I ask, because I’d be hard pressed to think of ten.

Well, they could do “God’s Been Good” (Legacy Five), “Thank You Lord (For Your Blessings On Me)”, “We Are So Blessed”, “Give Thanks” (praise song) could be used, “I’ll Say Thanks” (Gold City) could be used as well, “Thanks” (Oak Ridge Boys), “Thank You Lord (For Saving My Soul)” could be used, “Count Your Blessings” X 2 (Hymn and Martins sons) “We Gather Together”, “For The Beauty of the Earth”, “Come Ye Thankful People Come” and the poem “The World Is Mine.” Sure, some of those aren’t particularly Thanksgiving songs, but might not be out of place totally. Besides, I gave you more than 10. :-P

I don’t know if that’s what it was intended for, but “Just Because Of You” by the Cathedrals is a great song for Thanksgiving.

Funny you should mention “Just Because Of You”, Grigs. Our Sunday School teacher played it last week at the end of the Thanksgiving/be thankful lesson. I hadn’t listened to it in many years, but it fit very well with the theme.
