Changes Coming For Lauren Talley

Today, Lauren Talley launched her new website. Click HERE to check it out. The new site is a blog plus the usual online store, photo gallery, etc. that you’d expect to find on an artist’s website. Also featured prominently is an audio player with the title song from her upcoming CD, Songs In The Night.

Lauren’s initial blog post explains that she has a new book with the same title releasing soon in addition to the new solo CD. More significantly, she titles her post “New Beginnings,” and mentions that changes are on the horizon.

I haven’t spoken with Lauren or anyone at her label about her plans, but I’m speculating she’s going to start doing some solo dates, because:
A) Songs In The Night will be her fourth solo release, and
B) There’s already a Tour link in the site menu, and it doesn’t point to existing Talley Trio dates.

By the way, I generally don’t care for marquee text on a website, but I really like the way the words “Message” and “Music” shift back and forth to form various statements on Lauren’s website. Great idea.

She should stick with her Mom and Dad covering her “off pitch singing” I hate to be so blunt. But hey, If Taylor Swift can make it singing off pitch, so can Lauren.
