CD Review: Sisters – Healer Of My Heart

RATING: 4 1/2 Stars

Producer: Wesley Pritchard

Website: www.sistersmusic.org

Song Titles: “I Can’t Keep From Singing,” “You Made My Day,” “God’s Grace,” “Everything You Do,” “We All Came To The Cross,” “Brothers And Sisters,” “Healer Of My Heart,” “Unexpected Blessings,” “Mercy Leads,” “I’m Sure,” “You Always Answer Me,” “Healer Of My Heart” (reprise)

Summary: Kim Lord, Heather Day, and Valerie Ruppe have been singing together since the seventies. They got their first exposure to the concert stage as young siblings who sang with their mother as The Ruppes. In recent years, they reunited in the group LordSong. Now they’re officially known as Sisters. No matter the moniker, this combination always generates a dynamic blend.

How are we supposed to pick up on these guys now that they’re always moving between groups and changing their names? I love the Ruppes album I have, but honestly, it wouldn’t be hard to get lost . . .
