A Blogger’s Creed?
The suggestion of a “blogger’s creed” was made by a reader of Daniel Mount’s blog. While I believe a commitment to report the truth is noble, the bread and butter of at least some blogs is to wonder in print. That’s why you’ll see some of my posts here classified under the category of “observations” or “food for thought.” One might even argue that my CD reviews aren’t “the whole truth,” particularly when I express an opinion that a recording by some popular artist is sub-par.
I can see why some readers might be motivated to suggest a blogger’s creed, but I can’t think of a single sentence on which you’d get an agreement and a willingness to commit to from a majority of bloggers.
