Over the years, Jeff and Sheri Easter haved gradually moved from a bluegrass and Southern Gospel sound to a mainstream country feel. Their latest album is titled A Work In Progress, but it certainly sounds finished. :o) Actually, the title comes from one of the tunes on the album that appropriately meanders thru several different key changes. Jeff and Sheri alternate lead vocals throughout the recording, with Jeff managing to hold his own vocally with his multi award winning wife. "Loving By Heart" (a love song duet), "Hannah Prayed," and "Peace" were written by Sheri. Tour background vocalist Charlotte Ritchie and producer Michael Sykes provided background vocals for A Work In Progress. Listeners who like Country music with some solid harmony thrown in should enjoy this project.
